Last week, we gave an introduction about the Louis Vuitton Kimono Tote Bag. This is a new type of handbag designed for the Spring Summer 2015 Collection.
It’s alluring because of the two traditions combined in one – the V-cross motif and the Japanese Robe.
The V-signature is inspired by the Classic Advertisement of 1965, on the ad it was written: ‘Volez Voguez, Voyagez avec des Valises Louis Vuitton’. And if you’ve been following us recently, you couldn’t have missed the importance of the V symbol embellished on new the new handbags since Nicolas Ghesquiere took over the giant ship.
The other tradition is the Japanese Robe – the tote bag is partly designed in Monogram Canvas and the other half in fine calf leather. The Calf leather is available in different colors like black, red or purple.
The Louis Vuitton Kimono Tote Bag is both roomy and remarkably light, it’s a pleasure to carry. It features long Toron leather handles, 1 central zipped compartment and 4 bottom studs.
The brand’s signature is written on the front of the bag. Measuring 17.3’ x 15.7’ x 5.9’ (L x H x W) inches, priced at $3250 USD, €2280 euro via Louis Vuitton boutique.

Hi, i bought my lv kimono from a friend. The interior however is colored black. I saw from the lv site that the interior should be colored dark brown. Does this mean that i purchased a fake lv kimono bag?
Which color is your kimono bag? a black one? If so, then the interior should be dark brown.
