Loewe is a brand which is being under-estimated…Quality-wise, it is in my top list.
I have 3 Amazona(28), why? The leather and craftsmanship is sooooooo excellent, its finishing is so fab that you can’t find in another brand (I am serious). I really want ALL its color.
You will never regret to get this bag with such great quality at its reasonable price!
Hi Fanny, what do you think about Valextra and Dior bag vs Chanel. Both underestimated?
Hi Sassy,
Happy to share my thoughts with you!
Well, when talking about IT bags, there are 3 elements: BRAND, DESIGN & QUALITY….we want to spend our money loud, admired but practical (at least this is me)!
Valextra is v.fab in Quality (also craftsmanship), Design is subtle but its Brand still need to be exposed. In magazine, not many ppl is carrying it…..pity to say, it’s a gem hidden under the rock!
Dior might get the Brand thing, however Design stays at its Lady Dior and Miss Dior. Other than that, gals couldn’t associate much about its quality. Dior need to work harder to impress we gals.
So, why do we craved for Chanel? I personally think the double C counts more than the rest. You might find design like 2.55 flap bag or GST tote in other brands but yet Chanel stands out! There is a status associated with Chanel and that’s the Brand factor!
So, my RIGHT “IT” bag is something that fits me, worth a money and of course, BRAND do counts! lol
Hi Fanny, I totally agree with you. I think you have defined the three most important factor why one designer handbags shine brighter than the other. Dior is very chic and elegant, so is Chanel. IMO Chanel and Dior are head to head competitors:
GST/PST vs Lady Dior
Classic flap bags vs Miss Dior
Chanel cerf tote vs Diorissimo
One time I received a message from a girl. She almost bought the Diorissimo, did some research and found the cerf tote. She finally bought the cerf because she thought it was more ‘timeless’.
And if we want to buy quality, there are plenty of handbags that’s better than Chanel for cheaper price. But the style, the double C are irreplaceable. What do you think about shoes?
Well, I have limited experience with designers shoes as I got small foot where I could hardly find a small size to fit >.< (I envy those gals with larger foot with plenty of choices)
A few limited brands that I like is Ferragamo. Their flats are nice, timeless, durable and practical. Stuart Weitzman is also a good choice for events shoes.
One point I must say, we should spend on shoes which at least make you comfortable and walk nicely/elegantly. I saw lady wearing designers heels which were too high that make them walk awful. I guess male do not appreciate seeing this at work or when dating! Afterall, we are not models at runways!
Agree with that, shoes needs to be elegant and ‘comfortable’ to wear. And I really love Ferragamo. The reason I asked is because I received a question lately, someone asked: why do people get more obsessed about handbags than shoes?
Hi Sassy, which bag of Loewe do you recommend?
The Amazona is definetly the iconic to go for. If this is your first Loewe bag of course =).
