Presenting new Goyard totes – the Goyard Villette Bag.
This bag is inspired by the emblematic Mediterranee Bag. It exemplifies the art of tote bag, a edition that is playful and also colorful. The theme is humour, history and savoir-faire bag with character.
While the bag is designed with the iconic Goyardine Canvas, the center features a playful cartoon picture. This illustration is inspired by the Chic Du Chien, the name that Edmond Goyard gave to accessories for pets in the 1890’s.
The illustration is a reproduction of part of an illustration that was signed by a famous caricaturist form the Belle Epoque period for Goyard Brochure, showing Hulot, the dog of Edmond Goyard that’s reading a book. Hulot was French bulldog.
This bag is available in 1 size only and it comes in 4 colors – green, yellow, red and navy blue. The bag measures around 23.5 ‘x 15’ x 9.25’ (L x H x D) inches and is priced at 264000 Yen, 1760 euro via Goyard boutiques.
