The classic bags became more expensive every year, those who procrastinated got punished.It started with just one price increase per year, then two, then sometimes three. Unbelievable we thought. But now, it’s happening every month. Every month we have a price increase. And it’s not only the Classic Bags, but the Seasonal Bags also increase from time to time.In this report, we will be covering three things:

The Price Increase Of Australia
Can Chanel Bags in Australia get more expensive? Yes it can. And the latest price increase happened right after the release of the Spring Summer 2018 Collection. So you might ask now, which handbag went up in price? The answer: almost every bag.The Classic Flap Bags, Boy Bags, Classic Wallets, even the WOC’s and our can’t-live-without contemporary bags like the Coco Handle or Trendy CC Bags, all went up in prices.So now the next question is; how steep were the price increases? That’s a great question. Let’s cover the new and the old prices in AUD, starting with the Classic Flap Bag.
Chanel Classic Flap Bag
We had a chance to get the Small Classic Flap Bag when I dropped in price last year. But now it’s back up. And overall, the Classic Bag prices have gone up by around $450 AUD depending on the size. The bigger the size, the steeper the price increase of course.

Interestingly, I just bought a chanel coco handle in small last week (May 2018), product code A92991 – and the price at the boutique here is A$4970. Not far off the mini price quoted in another article.
