As requested by one of our members, an introduction of the Chanel Coco Pleats Collection. And as far as we know, this bag is not available for the Spring Summer 2014 Collection (but you know how Chanel works, sometimes they have one left in the back, you never know until you ask…)

This post is following our previous review of the newest Chanel Coco Pleats Clutch bag, released in the Spring Summer 2014 Collection.

First the history, the Chanel Coco Pleats Collection consist of three different bags; the flap bag, the tote and a hobo (now also a clutch of course). It should be released two years ago, to be exact in Fall Winter 2012 Collection.

The Chanel Coco Pleats Flap Bag has a purposely-made round shape to carry your can’t-live-without essentials, it can store far more items than the medium Classic Flap Bag. Crafted from strong and durable calf leather, it’s refined with texture silver hardware.

The two eyelets connecting to the short chain strap are carefully printed with the signature 31 Rue Cambon, Chanel. It comes with an additional shoulder strap to carry it cross body.

The Chanel Coco Pleats Tote has a strong appeal than your GST. It’s also made from diamond quilted calf leather with diagonal pleats. The oversized chain strap reminds me of the masculine Boy Bags and it comes with a delightful CC logo charm, attached to the left eyelets.

And as final, the Chanel Coco Pleats Hobo Bag, again, it’s made from calf leather and was released distressed two years ago. Refined with silver hardware, with an additional small diagonal exterior zip pocket that has a dangling CC zipper pull. Naturally, it comes with an adjustable shoulder strap of 45’ length.
