Burberry Pin Clutch Bag

You know which item is totally forgotten in fashion? The safety pin! So Burberry brought it to our attention and built it into a handbag. Well it does look very nice.

Designed for the Fall Winter 2018 Collection, the safety pin is at the center of this style.

The Design

The Safety Pin Bag is a beautiful evening clutch. However, the shape of the clutch reminds me of the lunch bag or the foldable clutch. It’s available in soft goatskin or other materials like velvet and satin. But it’s really the chic pin that makes it standout.

The safety pin is designed as an ordinary pin in silver or gold hardware, imprinted with the house’s signature. Or there is a more elegant version that has been beautified with crystal and gem-like stone.

The bag itself feels very slouchy and it’s easy to carry by hand.

The Interior

The safety pin is not the closure of the bag; it’s just for decoration purpose. The interior features a zip opening (but there are also versions without the zip). Inside you will find one large compartment to store your essentials.
