They say, if you can’t get the Kelly Bag, then why not try to hunt for the Hermes Kelly Depeches Briefcase. It’s not the same, but there are a lot of similarities.
What’s beautiful is the gorgeous Kelly Lock. The briefcase version is much more squared in size, it’s tight in design, while the Hermes Kelly Bag is much more ladylike, easy-going and great as an everyday bag. The Briefcase of course, is much more like a workbag.
The handle might be the biggest difference. The handle of the briefcase bag is much shorter, however the center design around the Kelly lock, including the leather strap is as beautiful as the classic version.
