Saint Laurent Mica Box Bag

Hatboxes were the hottest fashion in the 80’s. People were using hatboxes for travelling, because they kept the hats straight and tidy. So turning the hatboxes into a handbag, it’s like bringing the past back to live. But because we don’t use hatboxes anymore for travelling, it’s much more useful to rebuilt it into a nice practical shoulder or handle bag. The Design

With some knowledge about the history of high fashion, the hatboxes are created with a round-shape. The Mico Box Bags are also made in nice solid colors but also in multicolors. The overall style feels luxurious, timeless and fashionable. It also comes with a flexible handle for hand carry or you can use the adjustable strap for shoulder carry. This strap can also be detached.

The Saint Laurent logo is crafted on the bottom front in small lettering. Perhaps Saint Laurent wants observers to pay attention to the design and not the logo’s. The center top is built with a snap button closing.

The handbag is made from calfskin leather, finished with nickel (silver hardware). There is also an oversized version, which will help you start conversations or attract attentions.

The bottom is refined with 4 metal feet.

The Interior

The interior is really fun as it opens like a cosmetic box or a classic trunk bag. Inside you will find 1 main compartment, 1 flat pocket and 1 gusset pocket.
