In fact, this bag became available in store in the middle of the summer, while we have written a post about it as early as February 2014, it was called: ‘The Chanel Pre-Fall 2014 Collection’.

Then in May 2014 we published another article and leaked more images of the Boy in Metal Edges. You see, the reason why we love this bag so much is because it got all the classic elements you want – quilted, boy CC closure, big large chain and the gorgeous shape. But then Chanel added two metal edges on both sides to make it special, unique and different from all other boys. The metal edges are refined with sophisticated flower prints. It’s certainly a statement maker.

The Chanel Boy Quilted Flap Bag with Metal Edges was a part of the Paris Dallas 2014 Collection, also known as the Pre-Fall 2014 Collection. So it means that you can still run to the store and grab one home tonight before the diner is served.

We belief you will hear a lot about this bag in the future, perhaps Chanel will be releasing a couple more designs with different colors and leathers. If not, then the lucky fashionista’s who have already owned one, got an extra limited edition in their wardrobe.
